The Origin of JOMADA Educational Foundation
Our Story... Honouring a legacy of education and service while creating opportunities for future generations to learn, grow, and lead.
JOMADA Educational Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation committed to expanding access to quality education for underprivileged children. We focus particularly on children from widowed and disadvantaged families, recognising that a strong educational foundation significantly shapes future opportunities and life outcomes.
Established in 2024 by Dr Patience Biobele Hart, JOMADA Educational Foundation was created in honour of her parents, whose lives reflected a deep commitment to education, compassion, and service to others. The name JOMADA is derived from the first two letters of the names of her three biological children—JOshua, MArgaret, and DAvid. It symbolises a commitment to future generations and reflects JOMADA Educational Foundation's belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Through church-based initiatives, educational support, and community outreach in Nigeria, we have spent more than two decades investing in the lives of children and pre-teens, helping them build confidence, character, and aspiration for a brighter future.
